Columbia police arrest woman accused of vandalizing a house

Columbia police arrested Serena Parks on Saturday night after officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Clark Lane for reports of vandalism.

Police said Parks damaged property inside a residence in the area. The victim reported she went to the address and discovered there were holes in the walls and the furniture was flipped over.

Officers said they searched Parks’ property and found an Alproxolam pill in the pocket of her sweatshirt.

Parks faces possible charges of property damage and possession of a controlled substance.
