Kicking off the week on a cool start

MONDAY: You’ll need a coat out the door this morning as we’ll start out near 30 and wind chills will make it feel like we’re in the middle 20s. With full sunshine, temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 40s with winds out of the northwest up to 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Under partly cloudy skies and northwesterly flow temperatures will drop back into the upper 20s tonight. With just a slight wind up to 8 mph wind chills will drop into the teens for the morning commute.

EXTENDED: Through the beginning of the week we will remain cool, but we are going to warm-up to near normal by Wednesday. It will feel much more like spring Thursday and Friday as temperatures will make it into the mid 60s thanks to the return of southwesterly flow. After highs rise into the 60s Thursday we are tracking a chance of showers and thunderstorms by Thursday night. This will kick off a somewhat active weather pattern as we head into the weekend with more on and off chances of showers through Monday. This pattern change that could potentially bring some of the warmest air so far this year. Be sure to check back at ABC 17 to get the latest updates on the forecast.
