Woman charged with drug trafficking after police find 59 grams of methamphetamine

A known methamphetamine dealer has been charged with drug trafficking.

Jefferson City police said they found Amy Hickman in the drivers seat of a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of the 700 block of West Stadium Boulevard.

According to the probable cause statement, Hickman is a known methamphetamine dealer.

Officers had a K-9 unit sniff the car and the dog positively alerted to drugs in the vehicle. Police found approximately 59 grams of methamphetamine, $620 in cash, a used glass pipe and a scale.

Police said when they interviewed Hickman, she admitted to being a methamphetamine dealer.
