Evening snow flurries, warming late-week

TONIGHT: Clouds move through during the evening and snow flurries are possible. Any flurries we see during the evening will end by midnight, with colder air to follow. Clouds will slowly decrease through the night, and temperatures will dip into the mid 20s. Northwest winds near 10 mph will produce wind chills near 15 degrees.

THURSDAY: After a cold morning, we’ll warm slightly Thursday with more sunshine in the forecast, reaching the lower 40s in the afternoon. A cold northwest breeze near 10 mph in the morning will decrease as we head into late afternoon, becoming nearly calm in the evening.

EXTENDED: Winds will shift to the east-southeast and we will warm into the lower 50s Friday as clouds build back into the area. Saturday remains mild with highs in the mid to upper 50s with a slight chance of showers through the afternoon with the best chance south of I-70. By Sunday morning we see another shot at rain, which could mix to snow. Cooler air returns by the end of the weekend with highs on Sunday back in the 40s.
