Expect another chilly, winter like day

WEDNESDAY: Clouds will begin to break through the morning after a chilly start. It will feel more like winter all day as high temperatures only reach near 40 under partly cloudy skies. Westerly winds up to 15 mph combined with cool temperatures will drop the wind chill below freezing through the entire day.

TONIGHT: Temperatures tonight will dip back below freezing under partly cloudy skies becoming clear by the morning. Lows will drop all the way into the low to mid 20s. A cold northwesterly breeze up to 7 mph will make it feel like the mid teens for the morning commute.

EXTENDED: After a cold morning, we’ll warm slightly Thursday with more sunshine in the forecast, reaching the mid to upper 40s in the afternoon. We’ll warm back into the 50s Friday as clouds build back into the area. Saturday remains mild with highs in the upper 50s with a slight chance of showers through the afternoon, the best chance looks further south of I-70. By Sunday morning we see another shot at rain, which could mix to snow. Cooler air returns by the end of the weekend with highs on Sunday back in the 40s.
