Columbia police still investigating fatal hit and run crash

Columbia police announced on Tuesday that officers are still investigating the Feb. 17th crash on I-70 where the driver left the scene.

ABC 17 previously reported that the pedestrian, 35-year old Jerry Martin of Florissant, was walking on the road when he was struck.

Police are asking again for the community’s help with any information related to the incident. Residents are asked to call Officer Nate Turner at (573) 874-7652 with any information.

A spokesperson for the police department said, “No amount of information is too small.”
