A beautiful weekend leads to a rainy start of the work week

TONIGHT: Skies will remain clear tonight as temperatures fall back to the middle to upper 30s for lows. Winds will remain out of the southeast around 10 mph.

SUNDAY: We’ll hold on to the warm conditions for tomorrow, but we’re tracking cloudy conditions building in by the afternoon. Highs will once again top out in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED : The clouds we see on Sunday are ahead of our next storm system which will bring more rain & storms to mid-MO early Morning. The storm system will also bring the potential for a few snow flurries Tuesday evening as the low pressure system passes overhead. We’re not tracking any travel impacts as of yet. The more important weather story is that we’re going to be cooling down this week with highs in the lower 40s by Wednesday.
