Man charged with fraudulently using credit card multiple times at Columbia Mall

A man has been charged with fraudulent use of a credit card after he was accused of shopping multiple times with a stolen credit card.

According to the probable cause statement, Quintin Miner used the stolen credit card at the Columbia Mall on Nov. 17. The value of the purchases made totaled more than $750.

Two days later, Miner returned to the mall and used the same credit card to purchase more than $1,700 worth of items.

On Dec. 22, Miner fraudulently purchased more than $2,500 with the credit card at the Columbia Mall. Police said he attempted to use the card at two other stores to purchase items that totaled more than $1,500 but the charges were declined.

According to the probable cause statement, Miner has prior convictions for tampering with a motor vehicle, felony stealing and resisting arrest.
