Callaway County deputies arrest fugitive wanted in St. Louis County

Callaway County deputies arrested Shaun Smith, 37, on Tuesday after officers were following up on an investigation in the 7000 block of County Road 405.

Deputies said when they came in contact with Smith, it was determined he was a wanted fugitive from St. Louis County.

Smith was transported to the Callaway County Jail and is being held on a bond of $1,000.

Officers said if Smith does not post bond, he will be transferred to the custody of the St. Louis authorities.
