Mizzou softball falls to Arkansas in SEC Tournament Championship

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou softball team fell 4-0 to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Tigers' first SEC Championship appearance since 2013.

The first-seeded Razorbacks outhit seventh-seeded Mizzou 11 to two through the loss.

Sophomore pitcher Laurin Krings was charged with the loss. She threw for one inning and allowed one earned run. Megan Schumacher and Jordan Weber both also made appearances in the circle.

Up next - Mizzou will await the start of the NCAA Selection show on Sunday. The Tigers will wait to see if they will host a regional for the second-straight season.
