Calm Weather Pattern Dominates the Upcoming Week
TODAY : We’re off to a bit of a frosty start across Mid-Missouri this morning. Skies have cleared out overnight, allowing us to cool off into the low 30s. We’ll warm up to the upper 40s to low 50s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will turn out of the southwest as we head throughout the day at 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT : We’ll see partly cloudy skies tonight to end our weekend. Low temperatures will dip into the low 30s across the area.
EXTENDED : A much calmer weather pattern will continue to start the upcoming work week. Monday we will see much of the same conditions as on Sunday, with slightly warmer temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. By Tuesday, we will warm to the middle 60s. Our best chance of rain this week comes in the form of a fairly impressive system that will affect the area late Tuesday night and Wednesday. Could hear a few rumbles of thunder with this system but does not look severe at this point. This system will send a cold front through the region as it exits. Temperatures recover quickly, warming into the low 50s heading into next weekend. Watch ABC 17 News for the newest forecast and check back here for updates.
