Tracking strong to severe overnight storms with strong winds and damaging hail possible
Today: Temperatures will continue to rise before this afternoons approaching storms up to 90 degrees. After four this afternoon, storms will begin to develop across Central Missouri beginning scattered, then transitioning to more widespread by this evening. The main risk with these storms will be winds up to 60 MPH and hail up to 1" in diameter.
Tonight: Showers and storms will continue to engulf the eastern half of Mid-Missouri as temperatures will cool overnight thanks to the passing cold front to the mid-60s.
Extended: Showers will exit the region early Saturday morning allowing for drier graduation celebrations Saturday as the afternoon highs warm to the mid-80s. Sunday, chances for stronger to severe storms approaching once again due to an incoming cold front. Temperatures cool down slightly closer to average highs before and active week of weather approaches next week.
