MoDOT plans to reopen the bridge to drivers Thursday night ahead of the weekend. Next week's closure of the Bagnell Dam bridge is expected to allow workers to finish the more than $1.6 million rehabilitation project.
Crews closed the Bagnell Dam in September. The project includes expected improvements to the bridge deck and repairs to the sidewalk along the bridge.
Workers built the current Bagnell Dam Bridge in 1929.
