UPDATE: Endangered 13-year-old found safe in Hannibal

UPDATE 2/21: Monroe City police have announced that Carey was located safe in Hannibal Wednesday afternoon.

ORIGINAL STORY:Troopers issued an endangered person advisory for a 13-year-old girl on Tuesday evening.

Troopers said they are looking for Caitlyn Carey, a white female that is 5′ 04″, 155 pounds, has brown and blonde hair, brown eyes, a fair complexion, with a small mole on her left cheek.

Carey was last seen getting into a car on Monday night with an unknown male.

Troopers said Carey wears contacts or glasses but her glasses are broken. She is known to still wear her glasses with a pair of fake blue glasses over them.

Troopers ask anyone with information on Carey, the man, or any information related to her disappearance, call the Monroe City Police Department at (573) 735-4585 ext. 239.
