Two arrested after police find more than 90 grams of methamphetamine in car
UPDATE 4 pm: Threet was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
According to the probable cause statement, Threet is a known methamphetamine dealer.
ORIGINAL: Columbia police arrested James Threet and Derrik Mullins on Thursday after officers noticed a vehicle did not have license plates.
Officers said when they made contact with Threet, they found a glass pipe.
Police searched their vehicle and found another glass pipe, a gun, a jewelers bag and 90.47 grams of methamphetamine.
Officers said they determined the methamphetamine belonged to Threet.
Threet faces possible charges of felony trafficking, unlawful use of weapons, unlawful for certain people to possess guns and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mullins faces possible charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
