Man charged after deputies find drug paraphernalia and stolen gun in car

Moniteau County deputies arrested Andres Aguero on Sunday after officers conducted a traffic stop on a car that had defective equipment.

Deputies said that Aguero was the front passenger of the vehicle.

Officers searched the car and found two glass pipes, two straws and two glass viles. All the items had the presence of methamphetamine on them.

Deputies also found a pistol that was reported stolen out of Callaway County.

According to the probable cause statement, Aguero and the others in the vehicle said they did not know about the drug paraphernalia and the stolen gun.

Aguero was charged with stealing a firearm.
