Callaway County deputies arrest man after vehicle pursuit

Callaway County deputies arrested Michael Garrett on Saturday after officers attempted to stop his car outside of Holts Summit for a criminal investigation.

Deputies said Garrett failed to yield to officers and a chase began on State Road AA and various county roadways.

Officers eventually arrested Garrett on Vast View Drive.

Garrett had suspected methamphetamine paraphernalia. He faces possible charges of driving while suspended, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing.
