Charter Schools have been in the spotlight recently, with United State Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos sharing her support and Gov. Eric Greitens making big moves to expand school choice.
In Missouri, charter schools have only been allowed in Kansas City and St. Louis. However, new legislation could expand them across the state.
In a special report, ABC 17’s Deborah Kendrick speaks with those for and against these schools, and looks at performance scores to see how current charter schools are doing in Missouri.
