Tracking possibly record breaking heat
TODAY: After some clouds this morning, more overall sunshine and clear skies is expected Monday. This and more south wind will jump temperatures nearly another 10 degrees over yesterday. Expect possibly record breaking heat today, with highs climbing into the low 90s. Today will be hot, but also breezy. Winds will be sustained out of the south at around 15-20 mph, and may gust as high as 20-30mph.
TOMORROW: Tuesday is much of the same as we continue to sit in the same pattern. Temperatures will have the opportunity to outdo Monday's highs, with not much variance in the forecast. A few storms will pass by to the north of the viewing area, so we'll be watching that for any change, but as of right now, the forecast is dry.
EXTENDED: This upper level high pressure will continue to block us from any change up in the forecast through Thursday. This means more wind and sun lending to near record temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday. By Friday, chances for rain return and highs look to cool into the 80s. Saturday and Sunday share chances for rain and highs in the 80s, and 70s respectively.
