UPDATE: Endangered Columbia woman found by family

UPDATE 1/26 6:37 P.M.: Farmer was found by her family and is safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: The University of Missouri Police Department is looking for an endangered woman.

Officers said Kimberly Jo Farmer, 37, was last seen on Thursday at the University of Missouri South Medical Plaza, where she was scheduled for an appointment.

Police said Farmer left the facility and walked towards the east.

Officers believe Farmer had not taken her prescribed medicine for at least five days and was in an altered mental state.and did not know what city she was in. She believed that she was currently in Bloomsdale.

Farmer was also accused of not recognizing family members that were with her.

Farmer is described as a white female that is 5′ 07, 120 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a brown and white coat, black t-shirt, jeans, brown boots, and a black purse.

Police ask anyone with information about Farmer to dial 911 immediately or the University of Missouri Police Department at (573) 882-7201.
