Fulton police looking for armed and dangerous man

UPDATE: Fulton police said the victim knew Richmond and that is why he was identified so quickly. The home invasion was not random.

Richmond has a violent criminal history dating back two decades, pleading guilty to different assault charges over the years.

The other suspect has not yet been identified, but he is also still on the loose as well.

Police Chief Steve Myers said they are still investigating a motive for the home invasion.

ORIGINAL STORY: Fulton police are looking for a man considered armed and dangerous after police say he was involved in a burglary and assault Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday at 6:56 p.m. the Fulton Police Department responded to Vine Street after a homeowner told police a black man and white man forced their way into the home. The caller said the suspects attacked them with a baseball bat and knives-causing them to be taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the investigation, the black man was identified as Franklin BT Richmond III. Richmond has not been located at this time.

Police are asking for the public’s help in giving the department any information they have on Richmond’s whereabouts. Police are also telling residents to not make contact with Richmond, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

If you have any information on this investigation, you are urged to call 573-592-3100
