Multiple Boone County crashes affect morning commute

Multiple traffic crashes affected Boone County’s rush hour Tuesday morning.

8:00 A.M. – One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash just before 8 a.m.

Boone County Fire Protection District, Southern Boone County Fire Protection District and University Hospital Ambulance Service were dispatched to Tom Bass Road and Deer Park Road.

6:20 A.M. – Columbia Fire Department and University Hospital Ambulance Service were called to the area of Hwy 63 and Paris Road.

Police said both vehicles involved had to be towed from the scene.

At least one person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

6:54 A.M. – Southern Boone County Fire Protection District and University Hospital Ambulance Service responded to southbound Hwy 63 near Angel Lane for a car crash.

ABC 17 News crews on scene said it appears there was only one vehicle involved in this crash that caused traffic to back up for at least one mile.

ABC 17 News is working to get more information on whether or not any injuries occurred as a result of this crash.

7:13 A.M. – Boone County Fire Protection District and Boone Hospital Center Ambulance were called to Richland Road near St. Charles Road for another reported vehicle collision.

ABC 17 News crews arrived at the scene about 40 minutes after the dispatch call was received.

The scene was clear as of 7:43 a.m.
