Man charged with murder in connection with deadly Pettis County shooting

A man has been charged in connection with a Pettis County shooting that left one woman dead.

ABC17 previously reported that deputies responded to Western View Estates Trailer Park on Oak Grove Lane on Jan. 10 for reports of a woman with gunshot wounds. The coroner later confirmed that the victim was 21-year-old Cassandra L. White.

According to the probable cause statement, law enforcement officials received an anonymous tip that the shooting suspect was Noah Kelliker.

Deputies said Keilliker had an active probation violation warrant.

When officers made contact with Kelliker, they found a gun with rounds that matched the description of those at the crime scene. Kelliker was also wearing clothes that had large amounts of what appeared to be dried blood.

Deputies said they tried to ask Kelliker about the shooting but he did not want to talk. Moments later, Kelliker said he “might know something” and appeared to start to cry.

Kelliker was charged with murder in the second degree, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
