Columbia woman accused of damaging police vehicle, threatening to harm officers

Columbia police arrested Gena Robinson after officers received information she was walking around the area of Paris Road with an active warrant for her arrest.

Police said when they made contact with Robinson, she began walking away after she was told to stop.

Robinson tried to run but she was taken into custody and officers found a glass pipe in her jacket.

Police said when Robinson was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle, she began kicking the interior of the door causing approximately $5,000 in damages.

Officers said Robinson also made a threat to harm them.

Robinson faces possible charges of making a terroristic threat, property damage, resisting or interfering with arrest, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and for her warrant for driving under the influence.
