Driver in Morgan County crash airlifted to hospital

A 76-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday night after a single-car crash.

The crash happened around 7:40 p.m. on Old Route 50 at Highway 50 in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver, Nelda Martin, of Kearney, went off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.

Martin was flown to University Hospital to be treated for her injuries. According to the online crash report, she was not wearing a seat belt.
