Continuing to Track Snow Chances Sunday and Monday

SATURDAY: An unseasonably chilly day is in store for our area. Clouds will be decreasing as we head throughout the morning and into the afternoon. However, that northerly breeze will keep our high temperatures in the low 20s this afternoon. Those cold temperatures and northerly wind will also give us wind chills in the low teens this afternoon.

SATURDAY NIGHT : Winds will be shifting from the north to a southeasterly direction throughout the night. Lows will dip down to the high single digits to low teens. As our winds relax, our wind chills will stay above zero.

EXTENDED: We are still tracking a fast moving area of low pressure Sunday and bring a chance of light snow from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. A dusting up to an inch of snow is possible with highest amounts west of HWY 63. High temperatures will only reach the mid 20s Sunday. There is also a chance of brief light snow or flurries Monday morning as another surge of Arctic air moves in. This will drop temperatures to near zero Monday and Tuesday nights with highs Tuesday only in the teens. Temperatures will remain below freezing through next Wednesday as we begin our slow climb throughout the week, reaching the 40s by next Friday.
