Emergency crews responded to multiple crashes on Thursday after freezing temperatures arrived in Columbia.

Columbia Fire officials said they responded to three crashes in ten minutes.

Firefighters ask residents to slow down and remember that bridges and overpasses are typically the first to freeze.

Crashes were reported at:

-Highway 763 and Brown School Road

-1600 block of Grindstone Parkway

-Providence Road and I-70 eastbound

-4400 block of Rock Quarry Road

-Stadium Boulevard and Worley

Firefighters said the crash at Stadium and Worley involved three cars, one of which struck a telephone pole.
