Troopers respond to crash caused by vehicle sliding on ice

Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision Tuesday morning on US-54 Eastbound.

Troopers said the crash happened when a Mercury Grand Marquis slid on ice and turned around in the roadway and was struck by a Ford F250.

Officers said the Mercury was totaled and the driver, Grant Lock, had moderate injuries.

The Ford was reported to have minor damages and the driver had no injuries.
