Fog continues, but changes by later this afternoon

MONDAY: Clouds holding on this morning will break mainly west of HWY 63, leading to some sunshine with winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph. Highs will rise towards 40 by this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Temperatures tonight will drop back below freezing with lows in the mid 20s under partly cloudy skies. Winds will remain light, which will allow for another chance for patchy fog to develop through the overnight hours and into the morning commute.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will be a pleasant day as temperatures rise back into the mid 40s. Wednesday looks like the best day to get out and about with highs the mid 50s for most of us with a few spots reaching towards 60. Quick to follow, is another cold front that will bring the possibility for rain by Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon. Temperatures Wednesday night will remain above freezing so any precipitation will start off as rain. A strong cold front will track through the area by early Thursday, which will usher in drastically colder temperatures for the afternoon. Thursday’s high of 49 degrees will occur during the morning hours as temps drop below freezing through the day, which will allow any rain to transition to snow after noon. Another shot of Arctic air will move in by the weekend with highs back below freezing. Watch ABC 17 news and check back on our website for the latest updates to your forecast.
