Columbia police arrest man accused of trying to run over another man

UPDATE 4:02 pm: Zeno was charged with assault in Boone County.

ORIGINAL STORY: Columbia police arrested Darrell Zeno on Sunday night after officers were dispatched to an assault in the 600 block of Vandiver Drive.

Police said when Matthew Moore stole a car from the Welcome Inn parking lot, Zeno began chasing him with his own car.

Moore exited the stolen car and Zeno attempted to run him over, police said.

Zeno faces possible charges of second-degree assault.
