Columbia police arrest man accused of having 26 grams of methamphetamine

Columbia police arrested Adrian Jaxon on Thursday afternoon after a vice narcotics and organized crime detective saw Jaxon driving a car eastbound on I-70 near Range Line Street.

When officers pulled Jaxon over, he said his license may be revoked. Police said they were able to confirm that it was revoked.

Officers said they found a glass pipe with drug residue on it inside of Jaxon’s coat pocket. Police also found 26 grams of methamphetamine and marijuana inside of Jaxon’s car.

Jaxon faces possible charges of distributing, delivery, manufacturing or producing a controlled substance and operating a car on a highway while his license was revoked.
