Troopers arrest Columbia man after responding to crash, troopers say

A Columbia man woke up in the Boone County Jail Monday morning after being involved in a crash Sunday night, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers said.

According to dispatch records, the crash happened on I-70 eastbound near Highway 40 around 8:15 p.m.

Troopers said William Woolsey, 24, of Columbia, was involved in the crash. They said they found him in possession of several different types of drugs.

Troopers arrested Woolsey on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substances and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
