Driver arrested on suspicion of DWI after rollover crash

An Armstrong man is facing several charges after a crash that sent a 15-year-old to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened around 11:40 p.m. Friday on County Road 232 near Roanoke Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver, Garret Lyon, 26, went off the road, hitting trees and the car overturned. He was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

He was later arrested on suspicion of DWI, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner resulting in an accident and other driving violations.

Lyon’s two passengers were also taken to the hospital.
