Pettis County felon accused of having stolen firearm, methamphetamine
Pettis County deputies arrested Brandon Blaylock on Friday after officers executed a search warrant at his residence.
According to the probable cause statement, officers found two firearms during the search. One of the guns was confirmed stolen during a burglary in Sedalia, officers said.
Deputies said they found methamphetamine in the bedroom underneath men’s clothing and documents with Blaylock’s name on them.
Blaylock told officers the firearms belonged to his father and admitted to using methamphetamine six days prior.
According to the probable cause statement, Blaylock has a total of four felony convictions and was on parole for burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
Officers said that Blaylock denied any knowledge of the one firearm being stolen.
Blaylock was charged with possession of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a firearm.
