Ted LePage resigns as Jefferson City football coach

Ted LePage announced at a banquet Sunday that he is resigning as the head coach of the Jefferson City football team.

LePage has coached the Jays for the past 12 seasons. This past year, his team went 3-7. According to MSHSAA, LePage has an overall record of 88-44 including state tournaments. He is the second longest tenured coach for the Jays in program history. Pete Adkins is the longest tenured football coach at Jefferson City.

LePage played for Mizzou in 1989 and finished with four interceptions in 11 games.

Helias announced Tim Rulo will not return as head coach in November leaving both the Crusader and Jays with vacancies.
