Columbia police arrest woman accused of hitting a man with a baseball bat

Columbia police arrested Tanshika Sanders on Friday after police responded to a residence for reports of an assault.

According to the probable cause statement, Sanders and the victim were having an argument when she used a baseball back to hit the victim in the back of the head.

Police said the victim suffered a large bump and cut behind his left ear.

A witness told officers that the victim had pushed Sanders to the ground and then Sanders used a baseball bat and hit the victim in the back of the head.

Sanders was charged with domestic assault.
