Cooler weather moves in
TONIGHT: We’ll continue to have mostly cloudy skies overnight as cooler air moves in, dropping us to the low 40s by morning. A brief shower or sprinkles are possible toward Truman Reservoir and our southwestern counties by morning.
WEDNESDAY: The clouds will stick around all day and we’ll be cooler with high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will come in from the east at 4-8 mph.
EXTENDED: We’ll pick up a slight chance of showers Wednesday night into early Thursday morning as a storm system passes to our south but rain will be limited and amounts will be light, under a tenth of an inch. Thursday and Friday will be cool and dry with highs in the low to mid 50s and nights in the 30s. The first weekend of December looks nothing like winter as temperatures warm back into the mid 50s, reaching towards 60 on Sunday with plenty of sun and dry conditions. We’ll reach into the lower 60s next Monday before colder air arrives starting Tuesday with a chance of rain.
