Cooper County fire officials investigating shed fire

The Cooper County Fire Protection District was called to the 17000 block of Highway 41 around 6:30 p.m. Saturday to put out a large shed on fire.

Firefighters said they were able to get it under control quickly and prevent it from spreading to a nearby home.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital and was later released.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
