Patchy frost possible Sunday morning
TONIGHT: A few high clouds are possible through the night, as a very weak upper level disturbance tracks into Mid-Missouri. No precipitation is expected through the night, but we will briefly see the return of the low to mid 30s. Patchy frost is possible as we head into the morning hours Sunday. Winds will shift out of the southwest through the night, which will set the stage for warming as we head into Sunday and the coming days.
SUNDAY: It will be a chilly start to the day, as temperatures will be in the mid-30s across Mid-Missouri. Some patchy frost can’t be ruled out, but don’t let it fool you. Through the afternoon hours under mostly sunny skies we’ll squeeze out the lower 60s. Winds will remain out of the southwest under 10 mph.
EXTENDED: The spring-like weather continues into Monday with highs in the upper 60s and gusty southerly winds. Tuesday will also be warm with highs in the lower 60s with more clouds passing through.Our next slight chance for rain holds off until Wednesday into Thursday morning as another cold front is set to track into Mid-Missouri. This will allow for a slow cooling trend by the middle of next week with temperatures back into the lower 50s by Wednesday, with the return of the 40s by Friday.
