Woman charged with armed criminal action, accused of threatening man with knife

Morgan County deputies issued an arrest warrant for Haley Allen after they responded to Highway WW for reports of an assault.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim reported he was taking a baking dish back to Allen’s house and when he was inside the residence she came at him with a large knife.

The victim told police that Allen told him she was going to kill him and proceeded to swing the knife and stick it into the kitchen counter.

Allen allegedly said she was going to kill the victim’s brother and the baby with which she is pregnant.

The victim told officers he was afraid for his life as well as his brother’s.

Deputies said they entered the house and saw a large television broken into pieces on the floor. There was also a large gouge in the kitchen counter where the knife had hit, officers said.

Deputies said they could not find Allen and issued a stop and hold on her.

According to the probable cause statement, Allen is on probation for child endangerment, domestic assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Allen was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and assault.

According to public jail records, Allen is currently in the Morgan County Jail.
