Mizzou softball clinches series against Texas A&M

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 25 Mizzou softball team secured a series win against Texas A&M, courtesy of a 7-2 win in front of a sellout crowd on Saturday.

MU pitcher Laurin Krings tossed a complete game in the circle with five strikeouts and just two earned runs allowed. The sophomore is now 13-7 through he regular season.

Both Kim Wert and Kara Daly homered in the win over the Aggies. Seven players got a hit and three brought runners across home plate.

Up next - Mizzou will look for the sweep over Texas A&M on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The team will also honor its eight seniors after the game.
