A cool and sunny end to the weekend
TODAY: It will be a sunny and chilly day across Mid-Missouri. Despite ample sunshine, highs only top out in the mid to upper 40s with winds out of the northwest up to 10 mph helping us feel like the lower 40s this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Winds will shift to become more southwesterly around 6 mph, beginning a gradual warming trend heading into Monday. With mostly clear skies, overnight lows will bottom out in the mid to upper 30s with wind chill values in the lower 30s.
EXTENDED: It will be a dry upcoming week across Mid-Missouri, with no rain in the forecast. Starting Monday, winds will become breezy once more out of the southwest. This will warm our highs into the upper 50s and lower 60s through the day. The warmth is short-lived, as a cold front will track through the region and knock our temperatures into the lower 50s Tuesday. Another cold front will cool us back into the low 40s Wednesday, but a warming trend is expected for Thanksgiving through Friday with dry conditions.
