Callaway County deputies arrest naked man accused of forcing his way into nursing home

Callaway County deputies arrested Allen Chudej early Thursday morning after they were dispatched to the 10400 block of County Road 445 for a reports of a male subject driving through a yards.

According to the probable cause statement, Riverview Nursing Home, a private elderly car facility, also called deputies and reported that a naked man had forced his way past staff in the building.

A nursing home employee told deputies she saw a car pull into the employee parking lot, Chudej approached the door completely naked and pushed it open. She also said Chudej had a boy with him.

The staff told deputies there were immediately fearful of Chudej and did not know what he was going to do.

Deputies said when they got on scene and made contact with Chudej he was displaying bizarre behavior stating, “don’t kill me and don’t shoot me.”

Deputies said when they tried to arrest Chudej he resisted arrest and made attempts to grab officers equipment on their duty belts.

Chudej struck officers multiple times and struck a piano, which caused a window to be damaged and the leg of the piano to break off, deputies said.

According to the probable cause statement, the damage was estimated to be less than $750.

Chudej was also accused of hitting an employee multiple times in the stomach.

The boy told deputies that Chudej started freaking out, put him inside the vehicle, drove around, hit something, and then ended up at the nursing home.

Chudej admitted to officers that he had recently used methamphetamine.

According to the probable cause statement, Chudej has prior arrests for aggravated robbery, escape from custody, burglary, evading arrest, driving while intoxicated, terroristic threat and assault causing bodily injury.

Chudej is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, DWI, trespass, assault, resisting or interfering with arrest and property damage.
