Warming Friday, showers & t-storms

TONIGHT: Clouds will build again as a warm front lifts through the area, allowing temperatures to stay warmer. The low temperature will bottom out near 40 around midnight then slowly riset toward morning as the south breeze increases to 12 mph.

FRIDAY: It will be windy and warmer as temperatures climb into the low to mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Southerly winds will increase to near 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph at times. A few showers are possible during the day Friday, but most will hold off until evening and overnight as a cold front moves in.

EXTENDED: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through Friday night as a cold front moves through, with winds shifting to the northwest by Saturday morning. Showers will linger through Saturday morning, with the best chance north of I-70 and east of HWY 63. Skies will clear with a cool afternoon, only reaching near 50. Northwesterly winds at 15-20 mph will gust to 30 mph at times. The wind will diminish Sunday but it will still be chilly with morning lows in the upper 20s and highs in the upper 40s. Next week will start off mostly sunny, dry, and seasonal as temperatures reach into the low to mid 50s for highs. Another cold front will cool us back into the 40s Wednesday but a warming trend is expected for Thanksgiving through Friday with dry conditions.
