Fulton police arrest wanted man after foot pursuit

Fulton police arrested Devin McCaleb on Tuesday after officers received information that the man was in the area and had three warrants out for his arrest.

Police said the warrants were out of St. Charles County for failing to appear for charges of burglary, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

Officers said they located McCaleb walking in the 400 block of Court Street.

Police said when they attempted to make contact with McCaleb, he ran and a foot pursuit began.

The pursuit lasted for several city blocks before officers lost sight of McCaleb, police said.

A K-9 unit responded to the scene, and officers said they were then able to locate McCaleb and take him into custody.

McCaleb is currently in the Callaway County Jail with a bond pending of $45,000 for the St. Charles County warrants and a $4,500 bond on suspicion of resisting arrest for a felony.
