Rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning

TONIGHT: Drizzle will turn to light rain after midnight with isolated t-storms possible overnight as temperatures hold steady, in the upper 40s to near 50. Rainfall amounts up to a third of an inch are possible.

WEDNESDAY: Early morning rain will taper off as a cold front moves through, sending drier air into the region in the afternoon. Skies will gradually clear and high temperatures will reach the upper 50s to near 60 as winds shift to the northwest at 8-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph at times.

EXTENDED: Cooler air filters in Wednesday night, dropping temperatures into the low 30s under mostly clear skies. Thursday looks mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the low 50s. Another warm front will lift north Thursday night and temperatures will warm overnight to the low 50s by Friday morning with a chance of showers. It will feel like spring Friday as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 60s with gusty southerly winds to 25 mph. A few showers are possible during the day Friday but most will hold off until the evening and overnight as a cold front moves in. Scattered showers and isolated t-storms will move out by early Saturday as colder air moves in behind the front. The weekend will be cool and mainly dry with high temperatures only in the upper 40s to lower 50s and nights dipping into the upper 20s to lower 30s.
