Fulton woman pleads guilty to two counts of 2nd degree murder

Jennifer Grayson has pleaded guilty to two counts of 2nd degree murder during a pre-trial hearing at the Callaway County Courthouse.

Grayson is accused of murdering her boyfriend’s mother and brother-in-law. Her boyfriend, Dale Horton, already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life without parole.

Grayson will serve 15 years concurrent for each count of murder.

The Callaway County judge said Grayson is required to serve 85% before she is eligible for parole.

A victim impact statement was released during the pre-trial hearing. The handwritten note states:

“No words can express our gratitude for all the hours and hard work of the Callaway County Prosecutors office, staff, and investigators. The quick; actions of the investigation was exceptional. We also appreciate the time spent with our family explaining the process and listening to our concerns. They have showed us a great deal of kindness in this devastating situation.”
