Car crashing into traffic light causes one lane to temporarily close
All lanes are back open Saturday morning after a truck crashed into a traffic light near downtown Columbia, ABC 17 News crews at the scene said.
A truck crashed into a traffic light at the intersection of Providence Road and Broadway Boulevard, blocking off the right turn lane on Providence around 7:30 a.m., ABC 17 News crews said.
ABC 17 News crews saw one person being taken into custody by Columbia police near the truck that crashed.
Columbia firefighters were called to the scene to clean up spilled antifreeze that leaked onto the road from the damaged truck.
ABC 17 News is working to find out more information about the crash and the person that was detained by police.
