Cool weekend, rain chance late Saturday
TONIGHT: As clouds increase, temperatures won’t drop as drastically, but we still will see a cold night across mid-Missouri with overnight lows near 30. Winds out of the southeast up to 8 mph will create wind chills in the mid to upper 20s.
SATURDAY: We’ll see partial sunshine in the morning with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon as temperatures climb to the lower 50s with a south to southeast wind up to 8 mph. Light showers will develop west of HWY 63 after 4 PM, spreading to the east through the evening and overnight. Most areas will only see a tenth of an inch or less.
EXTENDED: Showers will move east Saturday night with low temperatures near 40. A few light showers are possible in areas east of HWY 63 until 7 AM Sunday but most areas will be dry by daybreak. Clouds will decrease Sunday afternoon and it will be cool with high temperatures in the low 50s and a northerly breeze up to 8 mph. We’ll have a dry and seasonal day Monday with highs in the mid 50s but another chance of showers returns during the day Tuesday as a warm front lifts north through the area, warming temperatures into upper 50s. Tuesday night, a cold front will approach from the northwest and we’ll have an increasing chance of rain through Wednesday morning with highs in the upper 50s.
