Callaway County deputies arrest Jefferson City fugitive accused of having methamphetamine

Callaway County deputies arrested James Sanders, 29, after deputies responded to the 10900 block of Evergreen Drive for a report of a disturbance in progress.

Deputies said when they arrived on scene, they found methamphetamine in Sanders’ possession.

Officers learned Sanders had a municipal warrant for past traffic offenses out of Jefferson City.

Sanders was taken to the Callaway County Jail and faces possible felony charges of possession of a controlled substance.
